Yes.  Saw Creek Estates has a private ski area for residents only.  It features a double chairlift, 3 groomed trails, snow making, ski patrol, instructors, a rental shop and much more.  Voted best place for kids to learn to ski.

Our “Top of the World” complex welcomes you to our full service restaurant and bar that features live music and other activities like karaoke and comedy shows.  TOW also houses the ski lodge, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, racquetball courts, fitness center, locker rooms with showers, as well as special event and meeting rooms.

Our amenities are extraordinary.

Saw Creek is the only community that offers a private Ski area.  Our exhilarating down-hill skiing experience – complete with chair lift, snow making and grooming, National Ski Patrol, private lessons and equipment rentals. A sleigh riding slope provides an extra measure of winter fun.

Saw Creek also includes four full-size outdoor swimming pools, two indoor pools, two kiddie pools, three whirlpool spas, two indoor tennis courts, nine outdoor tennis courts, two lakes, two basketball courts, a beach, a fishing pond, canoes and kayaks, a lakeside walking trail, a racquetball court, a fitness center with a weight room, a volleyball court, two playgrounds.

General Questions

Yes, Saw Creek Estates is very pet-friendly.

Unlike most communities Saw Creek Estates has high quality municipal water and a sewer system versus troublesome wells and septic tanks. This is a major difference.  Saw Creek Estates water and sewer systems are supplied and maintained by Pennsylvania American Water .

Homeowners pay very low yearly dues. These dues generate the funds to run the community and include items like the Safety Patrol, all office and maintenance staff, snow removal, garbage collection, road maintenance, life guards, snow making and ski instructors.  Members of our community are responsible for their independently owned lot.   In addition, Saw Creek has a substantial financial reserve fund making us one of the most financially stable communities around.

Saw Creek Estates has a Community Manager provided through a contract with Taylor Management.  The Community Manager oversees a full-time staff of over 40 SCE employees who handle the day-to-day operations of the community.  There is a nine-member Board of Directors, elected by homeowners, to oversee finances and management as set by the rules and regulations in the community bylaws.   

Yes. Saw Creek Estates is a 5-star, four-seasons recreational community.  50% of our homeowners are weekenders and 50% are full-time residents.  Certain amenities are seasonal like the ski area.

Saw Creek Estates is a private, gated community with its own Public Safety patrols that are on duty 24/7 in addition to video surveillance in key areas.  Homes have the option of monitored alarm systems.  However, Saw Creek Estates is a very safe community.

Within minutes of our gates you will find horseback riding, zip lines, snow tubing, tree adventure programs, go-kart racing, Delaware River canoe trips, National Park walking trails, and much more!  If you want to do it, there is a facility nearby that offers it.

Major supermarkets like Foodtown and Price Chopper and chains like Ace Hardware, CVS, AutoZone, and Tractor Supply are minutes away.  There are many quality restaurants nearby but also fast-food chains like McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Taco Bell.

For major shopping head up to Stroudsburg and visit every major store from the Stroud Mall, TJ Maxx, and Kohls to Home Depot and Lowes.

Shawnee Ski area is just minutes away but why wait on lift lines when you have a private ski area in the community?
