Pennsylvania State Police are currently conducting an investigation and are requesting residents assistance in gathering potential evidence. Specifically, authorities are asking individuals who possess camera footage from the area between the Back Gate and the Lancaster Gate to review their recordings.
The focus of this request is footage captured today, Thursday, February 20, 2025, between the hours of 6:25 AM and 6:45 AM. Investigators are urging residents with security cameras, dashcams, or any other recording devices covering this area to scrutinize their footage for any unusual activity.
Even seemingly insignificant details could prove crucial to the ongoing investigation.
If you have camera footage from the relevant area and time period, please take the time to review it carefully. Should you observe anything you believe could be pertinent to the State Police investigation, you are urged to report it immediately.

We are expected to have very frigid temperatures for the remainder of the week. The most vulnerable people during these temperatures are newborns, the elderly, outdoor workers, those with chronic illnesses, and the unhoused. Due to the forecasted rain for tomorrow 2/16 , the Ski Area will be closed and will be open Monday 2/17, 9 am-4 pm. The Ski Area will also be open on Thursday and Friday 2/20 and 2/21.

Winter Fest is this Saturday, February 15th, at the TOW Complex 9 am-5 pm. It will be a fun-filled day with activities for all; races, an animal show, crafts, vendors with merchandise for sale, food items for purchase, and a band.
Ski race registration begins at 9 am.
Over 20 vendors will be in the Indoor Courts from 1 pm-4 pm selling items such as carved wood bears, gnomes, wood door signs, soap, body care products, hair bows, candles, jewelry, and much more. Vendors have also donated items for the raffle.
Llama Ice Cream will be selling small, prepackaged ice cream cups, Everly & Bros (accepts cash, Venmo, Zelle & CashApp) will have fresh squeezed lemonade, waffles on a stick, and more for sale. The Recreation Department will have food and drinks available for purchase.
Pocono Wildlife will be presenting a live animal show at 2 pm in the Mountain Room.
Group de Jour will be playing in the Indoor Courts from 2 pm-5 pm.
